Nonconsensual Intimate Imagery — Removal Request

Use this page to request removal of nonconsensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated deepfakes intended to cause harm, under the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act (Pub. L. 119-, May 19 2025). Valid requests receive an action within 48 hours of receipt.

If you are in immediate danger or this involves a minor

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (in the US, dial 911). If the depicted person is a minor, please also report to theNCMEC CyberTipline — Omoggle will independently report content involving apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC under 18 U.S.C. §2258A as soon as we have actual knowledge.

How to submit a request

Send the elements below to takedown@omoggle.com. Use the “Compose a request” button below to open a pre-filled email template. We will acknowledge receipt and take action within 48 hours.

  1. Identification of the depicted person. Your full legal name, or the name of the person you are authorized to represent. If you are an authorized agent, state your relationship to the depicted person and attach proof of authorization (signed authorization or, for a minor, evidence of legal guardianship).
  2. Identification of the content. A description of the content and where it appears on Omoggle's service: a URL, profile name, match identifier, screenshot, or other reasonably specific information that lets us locate the content. Live 1v1 sessions are not recorded by Omoggle, but reported screenshots taken by other users may be retained as moderation evidence and are within the scope of this process.
  3. Statement of nonconsensual publication. A statement that the depicted person did not consent to the publication of the content, or, in the case of a deepfake, that the depicted person did not consent to its creation or distribution and that it was intended to cause harm.
  4. Contact information. Your email, phone number (optional), and any preferred contact method for follow-up. We may request additional information to verify identity before acting on the request.
  5. Sworn statement. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information you have provided is accurate and that you are the depicted person or are authorized to act on behalf of the depicted person.

What happens after you submit

  • Acknowledgment. We acknowledge receipt promptly.
  • Review and action within 48 hours. Valid requests result in removal of the identified content from Omoggle within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Reasonable efforts to block re-uploads. Where the content is amenable to hash matching, we use industry hashing (e.g. PhotoDNA, Thorn Safer) to identify and block known identical copies from being re-uploaded.
  • Good-faith protection. Good-faith removal is shielded from liability under TAKE IT DOWN Act §3 even if the removed content is later determined to be lawful.
  • If we cannot act. If we cannot identify or locate the content, or cannot verify the request, we will tell you what additional information we need.
